 The LSI center in Berkeley, California is also the home of the world famous University of California. Berkeley is a colorful and friendly city, from the magnificent marina overlooking San Francisco Bay to the crest of the hills of Grizzly Peak. Berkeley offers some of the best-known restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area as well as renowned cultural attractions such as rare bookstores, Tilden Park and a variety of performing arts
venues.
San Francisco, easily accessible from Berkeley by the BART train (the trip averages 25 minutes), has been described as one of the most beautiful cities in the world. With its magnificent attractions such as the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf and Golden Gate Park, it is a haven for tourists from all over the world. Visitors can enjoy trips to the north of San Francisco into the wine country, and to the south to Silicon Valley, the home of the computer industry. Beyond Silicon Valley is the rugged and beautiful Monterey Bay, a center for sports and recreation, featuring the famous Pebble Beach golf course and the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
LSI Berkeley is located in downtown Berkeley close to bus and underground stations and a few blocks from the university campus. The area abounds with restaurants, movie theaters, coffee shops, bookstores and other facilities.
Our school is in a two-story building with a central reception area, twelve classrooms, computer room with Internet access, student resource center and a large sunny atrium with vending machines.
