Work Experience
in the USA

This
program is suited to students who need to practice their English in
an informal setting and who wish to learn more about how business is
conducted in the USA.
Placements are arranged in a variety of different companies
and the program is available to students who have achieved the
upper-intermediate level during their LSI course.
A short-term unpaid placement, of one to two months, will allow
students to experience the work environment in a specialized field
for which they are qualified.
Long-term placements (can be paid or unpaid) of up to one year (including one month of
study) are available to students who qualify.
. This is an in-depth exploration of the student’s selected
career field.
There are specific goals and objectives to be accomplished
during this program.
For example, if your career track is in technology, LSI will
place you in this specific field, providing you with the skills and
confidence to help improve your future career prospects.
Please enquire for details and prices at your local
representative or LSI office.
We require 12 weeks to process the application for the short-term
program, and from 16 to 24 weeks for the long term program.
This includes the time needed for you to obtain the correct
visa to enter the USA. Certain requirements regarding your age
and educational background are needed to enter either program.
